iMyMac återbetalningspolicy
At iMyMac, we aim to provide practical software tools that help users maintain their Macs, manage applications, convert media files, record screen activity, and handle PDF documents. We encourage customers to explore our free trial versions before purchasing a license so they can evaluate the software's features and compatibility with their devices.
This Refund Policy explains the circumstances in which a refund may be considered, how to submit a request, and how subscription cancellations are handled.
1. Refund Guarantee Periods
iMyMac offers a money-back guarantee for eligible purchases according to the following schedule:
- Monthly licenses: 5 days from the purchase date.
- Annual licenses: 7 days from the purchase date.
- Lifetime licenses: 15 days from the purchase date.
The applicable period is determined by the license purchased. Submitting a request within the guarantee period does not automatically qualify an order for a refund. The request must also meet the applicable eligibility requirements described below.
Requests submitted after the relevant guarantee period will generally not qualify under this voluntary guarantee, except where an exception or a mandatory legal right applies.
2. När en återbetalning kan godkännas
We review refund requests individually. The following circumstances may qualify for a refund or another appropriate resolution.
2.1 Confirmed Duplicate Transactions
If the same product is purchased twice in error and both transactions are verified, we may refund the duplicate order. Customers may be asked to provide the relevant order references so our team can confirm the transactions.
2.2 Multiple Purchases with Overlapping Functions
If a customer purchases two iMyMac products that substantially overlap in functionality, we may consider refunding one purchase or arranging an exchange for a more suitable product. Approval depends on the order details, the circumstances of the purchase, and the applicable refund conditions.
2.3 Persistent Software Malfunctions
If a reproducible technical problem prevents a core advertised function from operating as described, customers should contact our support team for troubleshooting.
If the problem remains unresolved after reasonable diagnostic efforts and the request falls within the applicable guarantee period, a refund may be approved.
2.4 License or Activation Failures
If a validly purchased license cannot be activated because of a verified licensing or activation problem, please contact our support team. If the problem cannot be resolved within a reasonable period, the order may qualify for a refund under the applicable guarantee conditions.
3. Situations That Generally Do Not Qualify for a Refund
The following circumstances generally do not qualify for a refund under our voluntary money-back guarantee, to the extent permitted by applicable law.
3.1 Change of Mind or Unused Software
A customer decides not to use the software after purchasing, no longer needs the product, or has not used the purchased license. Non-use alone does not establish eligibility for a refund.
3.2 Expectations Beyond the Advertised Features
A customer expects functions, performance improvements, output results, or compatibility that were not stated or promised in the product description.
We recommend reviewing the product specifications and testing the free trial before purchasing to determine whether the software meets your requirements.
3.3 Mac Cleaning and Optimization Results
PowerMyMac provides tools for cleaning files and managing Mac performance. The amount of storage that can be recovered and the degree of performance improvement may vary depending on the device, available storage, installed applications, system configuration, and the files present.
A customer may not qualify for a refund solely because the software frees less storage space or produces a smaller performance improvement than expected, provided the software operates as described.
3.4 Application Uninstallation and Residual Files
Uninstallation results may depend on the application's installation method, system permissions, files shared with other applications, and macOS restrictions.
A refund is generally not available solely because certain related files remain or cannot be removed automatically, provided the software functions according to its stated capabilities and no applicable refund right otherwise applies.
3.5 Video Conversion and Output Quality
The quality, resolution, format compatibility, and other characteristics of converted videos may depend on the original source file, the selected output settings, and the capabilities of the source material.
Refunds are generally not available solely because the output does not exceed the quality of the original file or because the customer selects settings or formats that are incompatible with the intended playback device.
This does not exclude a refund request where the converter has a verified defect or materially fails to provide an advertised function.
3.6 Screen Recording Limitations
Screen Recorder performance may depend on system resources, recording settings, audio permissions, application restrictions, and the content being recorded.
Refunds are generally not available solely because a recording is affected by external restrictions, unavailable system permissions, insufficient system resources, or limitations of the source application, provided the software itself performs as described.
3.7 PDF Compression Results
The amount of compression achieved may vary according to the original PDF's content, images, fonts, embedded resources, and existing compression.
A refund is generally not available solely because the resulting file is not reduced by the expected percentage, provided the software operates as described and the expected result was not expressly guaranteed.
3.8 System Requirements and Compatibility
Refunds are generally not available when the customer's Mac or Windows operating system, hardware, or system configuration does not meet the requirements or compatibility specifications clearly disclosed before purchase.
If the software fails to meet its stated compatibility requirements, the circumstances will be reviewed separately.
3.9 Third-Party Restrictions or External Conditions
Issues caused by third-party applications, operating system changes, unavailable permissions, network interruptions, or restrictions imposed by external services generally do not qualify for a refund when the software itself operates as described.
3.10 Registration Email or License Retrieval Delays
A delayed registration email or a missing license message does not, by itself, qualify for a refund. Delivery may be affected by spam filters, email provider settings, or other communication issues.
Please check your spam or junk folder and contact our support team if the license cannot be located. We will help verify the purchase and retrieve the relevant registration information.
3.11 Failure to Participate in Reasonable Troubleshooting
If a customer reports a technical issue but declines reasonable troubleshooting steps or does not provide information necessary to investigate the problem, we may be unable to verify the reported defect or determine eligibility.
Requests will be assessed according to the information available and applicable legal requirements.
3.12 Requests Outside the Guarantee Period
A request submitted after the applicable money-back guarantee period will generally not qualify under the voluntary guarantee unless an exception applies under this policy or applicable law.
4. Förnyelse och uppsägning av prenumerationer
Monthly and annual licenses may renew automatically according to the subscription terms presented during purchase.
4.1 Cancelling a Subscription
Customers may cancel an active subscription through the available account management, customer service team, or payment-provider options to prevent future renewal charges. Please complete the cancellation before the next billing date to avoid a subsequent renewal.
Cancelling a subscription stops future renewals according to the applicable subscription terms. It does not automatically refund a payment that has already been processed.
4.2 Refunds of Renewal Charges
Subscription renewal fees are generally non-refundable once charged, including when a customer forgets to cancel before the renewal date or no longer requires the software.
However, customers may contact us regarding a duplicate charge, a potentially unauthorized transaction, an incorrect billing amount, or other exceptional circumstances. Such cases will be reviewed separately in accordance with the applicable terms and consumer protection laws.
5. Submitting a Refund Request
To help us review your request efficiently, please contact our support team at support@imymac.com och inkluderar följande information:
- The order number or transaction reference.
- E-postadressen som användes för köpet.
- The product name and license type.
- A clear explanation of the reason for requesting a refund.
For technical problems, we may request additional details, such as screenshots, error messages, system information, or diagnostic files, where reasonably necessary.
Our team will review the available information, may request clarification, and notify you of the decision. Please allow reasonable time for the investigation and response.
6. Refund Processing and License Status
Once a refund is approved, it will generally be issued to the original payment method where possible. The time required for the funds to appear in your account depends on the payment provider and financial institution.
When a refund is issued, the corresponding license will be deactivated. The customer must discontinue use of the refunded license and cease using the associated paid features.
7. Policyuppdateringar
iMyMac may update this policy when its products, services, or business practices change. The revised policy will be published on this page with an updated revision date. Any applicable legal requirements and the terms governing the relevant transaction will continue to apply.
